Featuring: Ilse's guesthouse La Bohème in Lot-et-Garonne, France. The House: Interior Designer Ilse didn't take to the dark old barn from 1900 when she first saw it, but she recognized that it had an unbeatable view. So she set about transforming the barn into a light and airy 80-sqm loft. During the renovation, Ilse was careful to preserve all of the original exterior walls, hiding the electrics behind a false wall in the kitchen. She also designed a beautiful terrace and outdoor space. The Style: White walls mixed with natural materials and weathered wood furniture create a light atmosphere grounded by old stone walls - the perfect place to relax.
