Featuring: Trine Habel is a fashion designer and is behind the label, Misty May, and her husband works as an IT project manager for Microsoft. The home: To obtain sea views from all rooms the couple built a displaced new 80 square meter building in addition to the 100 square meter house from 1958. The house is located in Snekkersten, Denmark on a 870 square meter sloping plot, which is located 17 meters above sea level – and includes in a stunning, scenic garden. The style: Black & white contrasts are a recurring theme in the interior design, which is dominated by classic design quality, a touch of retro and solid second-hand. Furniture, lamps and objects by international designer labels such as Philippe Starck and Ray & Charles Eames beautifully accompany classic Danish furniture designs by Poul Kjærholm, Mogens Lassen and Bjørn Wiinblad, which can be seen in several places in the home. A few things are new purchases and others are heirlooms.
