Featuring: Dutch industrial designer Floris Schoonderbeek, co-founder of product label Weltevree, 34.The House: The Schoonderbeek family retreat was built a few years ago on the Raboes, a piece of nature in the very middle of the Netherlands. The 40m2 sustainable building offers a wonderful view of the lake.The style: Everything in and around this modern country home is design. Functional, but warm due to the use of natural materials. The Stonestove, a design by his Weltevree partner Dick van Hoff, is clad in concrete elements that absorb and gradually release the heat of the fire inside. The Wheelbench by Rogier Martens can be easily moved to wherever you want to sit. The Dutchtub, a mobile wood fired hot tub, was designed by Floris himself.
