Featuring: Interior designer Jennifer Valone Thorsen (43) and industrial designer Halvor Thorsen (46) with two children. The home: Cabin built in solid wood from local manufacturer. The cabin and all the furniture are designed by the owners.Halvor took over the company Thorsønn after his father Odd Thorsen in 2004, after working for Stephen Burks and Readymade Projects in New York, and under architect Simon Conder and the design duo Barber Osgerby in London. Jennifer is a trained interior architect from Rhode Island School of Design and worked for many years in New York and London before moving to Norway in 2009. See more of their work at oddthorsen.no and thorsonn.com.The style: The cabin is filled with the couple's self-designed furniture, as the chair and the puff made for their own brand Thorsønn. The chair is called Nabo (Neighbour) - a lightweight, lightweight high back chair, made of wood, which can easily be moved to the window during the day and back to the fireplace in the evening. The cottage has a simple expression. All the wires and lights are hidden, so that the eyes rest only on the lines, materials and beautiful views. - Many people bring to the cabin everything they do not want at home. We only have the best here, says Halvor.
