Their current home, a historic apartment in Indre By, was carefully restored, respecting its original 1831 structure. Large windows overlook a modern playground, blending the old with the new. With the help of architect Johannes Norlander, the couple created a stylish kitchen and bathroom in brushed stainless steel, emphasizing craftsmanship and historical integrity.The Style: The interiors reflect a blend of historical reverence and modern design. Inspired by 19th-century artist Vilhelm Hammershøi, the living spaces are painted in nuanced greys, from light to nearly black, creating a serene and cohesive aesthetic. The decor is minimal yet warm, featuring Nordic design classics by Klint, Kukkapuro, Jacobsen, Mathsson, Saarinen, Wegner, Koch, Lindau, and Lindekrantz. Personal touches abound, with every piece of furniture and artwork carrying a story or connection to the family.
