Story
Details

Featuring: Traditional Midsummer PracticesThe Idea: Midsummer, especially on Sankthans (St. John's Eve), has long been associated with special powers and traditions. Plants like mugwort, chamomile, alkanet, and common knapweed were gathered for medicinal purposes. A bouquet of nine different flowers under a woman’s pillow could reveal her future husband in dreams. Dew collected on this night was considered potent medicine, gathered by laying cloth in the grass overnight. The Style: These traditions blend the mystical and natural, creating a folklore-inspired aesthetic. The use of plants and natural elements adds a rustic, old-world charm to the celebrations, emphasising the connection between humans and nature.
